Rob Willsher, Owner of Vigilant Divers
Rob has over 4000 dives in the waters of Anguilla. He is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, teaching from beginner to the highest Recreational Level of diving, and also to the Professional Level. He has multiple Specialty Courses that he is also able to teach.
Rob is also a British Military Veteran and part-time officer in the Royal Anguilla Police Force Marine Unit.
Xander Owen-Vasilis
Xander is the First Mate on Vigilant. He is an Open Water Diver, a Free Diver, and an experienced fisherman.
In his spare time off the boat, Xander is a former professional tennis player and teaches tennis lessons at local Anguillan resorts.
The Boat
"VIGILANT" is a Boston Whaler Offshore.
She is 30 feet long and just over 10 feet wide. It is the perfect size for scuba diving adventures.
Powered by two 225 hp Yamaha four stroke outboards, she has a lot of power and reliability, and is very quiet. She has a "walkaround" cabin that can keep gear secure and dry. She is equipped with fresh water shower/washdown.
Safety and navigation are with a Garmin GPS, Furuno radar, and two marine radios.
