A Typical Dive Morning
We meet at 8:00 AM in Sandy Ground. We go and enjoy our first dive, then move to our second dive site during our Surface Interval.
We have fresh fruit and bottled drinking water for you during your Surface Interval.
After our second dive, we come back into Sandy Ground by lunchtime.
Need Equipment?
We can supply what you need for a small rental fee.
Safety & Refresher Training
For your safety and the safety of other divers if you or any of the divers in your group are over the age of 65 or have a medical condition that has changed since you last were diving we require you to fill in a self certifying medical questionnaire. If applicable I can email the form, this should be completed before arrival as advice from a physician may be needed.
Refresher training will be required before we can dive for any diver that has been inactive from diving for over 2 years.
Where Will We Dive?
We do have our favorite dive spots in Anguilla! The ‘Catheley H’ wreck is teeming with life, sitting upright at a depth of 59 feet in the sand. We often see turtles on this wreck. Sandy Island has a healthy, pretty reef system that we love diving on with soft and hard corals.
For the snorkelers and shallower dives, we go to Little Bay, which is a marine park and a natural marine nursery. There is also the rock to jump off for the brave ones. We also like to snorkel at Pelican Point, which is out from Crocus Bay.
The Anguilla Shipwrecks
We have 7 shipwrecks to dive on. They were sunk in 1990 deliberately to form artificial reefs.
They are all different:
The Catheley H has an abundance of marine life.
The Oosterdiep where we often see Caribbean reef sharks.
The Meppel (was the Hilda) was used in Operation Dynamo in WW2 to rescue British troops from Dunkirk.
The Sarah is the biggest wreck, with less marine life but some exciting swim throughs.
The Ida Marie is twisted and sits on a reef also teeming with life.
The Commerce was the first wreck sunk in the 80s. This sits on the bottom of a reef. Its cargo hold has broken up — it has a vehicle on the deck and another vehicle further down the reef in the sand.
The Lady Vie has vehicles in its cargo area.
No Show/Change Policy
Due to the exclusive service that we provide, and the extremely low numbers on the boat, cancellations and reservation changes can harm our business. Therefore we have a 48-hour cancellation policy for the full amount. Thank you for your understanding.
We look forward, together with PADI — the largest certification agency in the world — to being with you on your underwater adventure. However, please note that due to allocation of instructors, should you fail to show up for an appointment or request a change of date and/or time less than 48 hours prior to the confirmed date and/or time for any part of your PADI Instruction, you will be charged an additional $100 rescheduling fee, per person, to the cost of the package or course.
We require credit card details (Visa or Master) to secure your booking.
